Started his career as an actor, which gave him opportunity to build and perform with puppets for various stage and film projects. This led Aaron to his last 10 years and passion of creating character within make up and monster FX. Aaron started out as being self taught eventually gathering favour and working in makeup fx shop for 10 years. As Aaron worked he utilized the Stan Winston School of Character Arts program where he was a student of Neill Gorton’s “Silicone Prosthetic Transfer’s” course. Aaron also achieved a “Certificate of Mastery” for the “Business of Making Monsters” under teacher Shannon Shea. Aaron values being able to work as a team. Those values have allowed him to work on features like “The Grudge”, “Bring it on Halloween” and “ Hunter Hunter". Aaron was the Make-up Fx lead and also ran the Makeup fx Lab, and puppet team on soon released sci fi, Horror “SafeHaven”. Because he started out as a performer and also works production Aaron brings an awareness and a unique understanding to the process that fully encompasses a character-one that allows the makeup to tell the story .
